"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38,39).

A primary desire of this ministry is to grow and nurture an internet community.
God has blessed us with the opportunity to pray for one another, and there have been many times in my life where the prayers of friends and family were comforting in several ways.
Knowing we have folks asking the Lord to help us in our times of distress helps deliver us from a feeling of isolation. We are never "in it alone" - Christ is always by our side. Yet it's wonderful to Know others care for us enough to lift us in prayer.
Next, Jesus teaches us to pray. Throughout the Gospels, we read of Jesus going off by himself to pray. As it was for Him, it is our time to be in union with God in an intimate way.
Then there's the fact that our Heavenly Father answers our prayers. So let's pray for each other with the desire that God will answer our prayers in the way that will give Him the most glory.
Remember, too, that we have the opportunity to praise Him for answered prayers as well as in thanksgiving that He is our Great & Glorious Lord.
Please submit your prayer requests by email. Be sure to let us know if you would like your request to be posted on this page, or if you would prefer your prayers are offered privately. If you would like Joe to contact you and pray with you, he would be honored to do so. Just let him know if you would like to be contacted by email or phone, and when would be the best time to reach you.
All prayers will be directed to the Trinity with the paramount desire that God will be glorified in all our circumstances.
You can submit your request by email to joe@forgivenchristians.org or by phone at (805)754 -9797.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:6,7.
02/22/10 - Lord Jesus, I ask that this ministry will bear much fruit - strengthening the faith of forgiven Christians everywhere, and bring them the peace that surpasses all understanding. And Father, please let this ministry be an avenue to introduce not-yet-believers to the joy of being in a saving and intimate relationship with You.
We ask this in Jesus name through the power of the Trinity,
Joe.
03/05/10 - Heavenly Father, Jeff has recently accepted the position of a Church Elder and has asked for prayers that he may serve faithfully and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Please bless this man and give Him an intimate awareness of your Presence as he serves the Church.

First we thank You that they chose Life, and we ask that you work in their hearts to grow in their relationship with You and lean on Your strength through the pregnancy. In Your Name we pray.

And Lord, as Nancy and other caregivers face the pain ond suffering of so many people, please let Your Holy Spirit rule in their hearts. Let them see Jesus in the sick and infirmed. Let them be witnesses of your Love.

04/04/10 - Dear Jesus, we thank you for this Easter Sunday, when we acknowledge Your rising from the dead and proving to us once and for all that You are our God, Lord, Master, and Savior. Please bless those who have lost loved ones this past year, and by Your Resurrection, let them take extreme comfort in knowing that death is merely a veil that takes believers out of this life and immediately into Your Eternal embrace.
We ask this through the power of the Trinity, Amen.
04/09/10 - Lord Jesus, we pray for Danny right now as he is going through some difficult times. Please let your Holy Spirit comfort him and bring him peace. Heavenly Father, grant Danny hope and love in his time of desperation.

Dear Lord, You are mighty and Sovereign. When you allow the force of nature to unleash itself on people in various regions of the world, often times we don't know how to pray. We can only acknowledge Your omnipotence and bow the knee before You. Please bless us all and lead us to rest in the knowledge that not even a sparrow falls to the ground without Your consent. Please give comfort to the afflicted and strength to the rescuers. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
04/01/11 - We pray for Sarah, a young woman undergoing medical treatment for her heart. Lord Jesus, please let your Holy Spirit be felt in a poweful way in the hearts of Sarah and her family, and let your angels guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals treating her. We bless and praise your Holy Name. Amen.
